Both Picaboo and Shutterfly allow you to drag and drop to group pictures together, then automatically create layouts to suit your image combinations. Kodak’s SmartFit did a good job with autofill because it seemed to respect both the order of our images and their aspect ratios. Mpix’s autofill, however, seemed to respect neither. If this all seems like too much work, consider SmileBooks. We used its design service both to edit and to compile our books-a designer at the company followed our instructions, choosing our best images and designing the book for us. You’re charged for the design only if you order the book, and SmileBooks will make revisions according to your requests. The full-service process is much pricier than designing the book yourself, but it’s a good option for those with more money than time.Hi Ron & Cathy. My experience with Blurb has been limited to just the one book that I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago. It was not the print quality particularly that I was disappointed with - colour was about the same as MyPub. It was more about the feel of the cover wrap and the quality of their paper compared to MyPub. The blurb book would have been fine if what I wanted was a child's storybook or something - it was just not suitable for a wedding product. ![]() I had the identical book printed by MyPub, but with their leather-bound cover, and the whole look and feel was far superior, inside and out. AND, the prices were nearly identical - in fact, I think the blurb book was a bit more. ![]() It just looked and felt cheap, compared to the MyPub product. The MyPub book also has vellum-like semi-transparent pages inside the front & back covers, which gives it a richer, more "bridal" feel. The ONLY thing I don't like about the MyPub product is that on their 2 smaller book sizes they place their logo (albeit in very small type) on the very last page. I cover this with a small, very tasteful, full-bleed label which I produce myself and simply has my own website address on it. And the largest album (11x15) doesn't have the logo on it, for some reason. Their leather albums also come in a soft flannel bag which unfortunately also has the MyPublisher logo on it, so those get ditched. I am currently sourcing boxes which I could use instead. ![]() I have also had the opportunity to compare the customer service between MyPub and Blurb - hands down, MyPub is far superior. They answer my emails usually within hours and actually pay attention to my specific queries and answer accordingly. I had sent a couple of emails to blurb prior to using them and got fleeting answers back a day or two later urging me to visit their website and FAQ page. The answers I get from MyPub are always specific and speedy in comparison. Mypublisher photo book reviews software#.
